To help maintain a safe and secure environment for all students, GCISD requires every volunteer who may be on campus or working with students to complete a Volunteer Background Authorization Form and receive district approval before volunteering.

Whether you're helping in your child's classroom, assisting with a field trip or Field Day, volunteering at a PTA event, or supporting students, this one-time process is required before you can serve. We encourage all parents and guardians to complete the form early in the school year so you're ready to volunteer whenever opportunities arise.
