SIGN UP FOR DADS CLUB HERE

We are proud to be a very active DADS CLUB at Cannon Elementary. We build an awesome float for the Grapevine holiday parade each year, but our involvement doesn't end there. We help out with projects on campus, and we enjoy greeting kids in the carline every Friday during the school year with our DOOR DADS program because it keeps us connected to our school and our scholars. 

Here are some other things we get into:

• On Friday mornings, we open car doors, give teachers a break, and set kiddos up for a terrific end of their week
• We help to design and build Cannon's Parade of Lights Float. All GCISD elementary school Dad Clubs compete to see who's best (we've won 6 out of the last 8 years!). Dad's who contribute - time or donations of either supplies or funds - guarantee their little ones a spot to ride on the float during the parade.
• Support events like Bike & Roll to School Day, Field Day, STEMapalooza, assisting with food drives around the holidays, and anything else put on by the PTA and/or Cannon Elementary
• We host a get-together for an annual Spring Dad's Club campout at Meadowmere Park at the lake.
• We provide a helping hand to teachers and the school whenever they need it (moving stuff, building stuff, carrying stuff, etc.)
• We have monthly "meetings" held at local bars/restaurants to get together, get to know each other, and hang.
