Tears and Cheers Breakfast
We will welcome all Cannon Cubs Back to School on Wednesday, August 12, for our first day of school! The alarm clock will come quickly - prepare for the adjustment! Remember, the start time for GCISD elementary schools is 7:35. Doors will open at 7:20, with breakfast available until 7:40. Cubs are tardy after 7:35.
Any parent or guardian wanting to walk their Cub in on the first day of school will need to have their Driver's License on hand and sign in at the security kiosks before entering the building; please plan ahead! You are welcome to print your first-day kiosk badge during our Kinder Camp or Meet the Teacher Night, or stop by between 8:00-3:00 on Monday, August 10, or Tuesday, August 11, to print your badge for quick entry! Per our amazing safety procedures, we will be checking badges and driver's licenses, so be ready!
Dropping your student off on the first day of school always brings big emotions! Parents and guardians are welcome to stop by our Cafe for our traditional "Tears & Cheers" breakfast, sponsored by our CAN PTA, to get to know your school community supporters!
